Yes. Idaho law authorizes pharmacists to prescribe drugs and devices within their education, training, experience, and professional standard of care. At Frontier Diabetes, that can include starting, adjusting, or renewing diabetes medications and prescribing a CGM or insulin pump when clinically appropriate. Yes. Visits are held by secure video for patients who are physically located in Idaho at the time of care. Telehealth is not appropriate for every medical need, and in-person care may sometimes be recommended.

Absolutely. With your permission, Frontier Diabetes can share relevant care updates and coordinate with your primary care clinician, endocrinologist, pharmacy, or other members of your care team.
